Los Angeles means many things to many people. The range of activities and entertainment is enormous and reaches beyond Los Angeles proper. Many people visiting Los Angeles would want to see Disneyland which is actually in Orange County. However it is within  range from downtown Los Angeles for a full day's visit.  Likewise, Long Beach and the Queen Mary, Catalina Island, Santa Monica and Venice Beach are day trips. 

To locals, Los Angeles means Hollywood, Universal City, Walt Disney Concert Hall (downtown), Dodger Stadium, Staples Center (Lakers) and Beverly Hills with Rodeo Drive.

This is the beauty of a visit to greater Los Angeles. All the Lincoln West Travel service areas are reachable within two (2) hours, except Las Vegas. But Even Las Vegas can be reached in four hours by car allowing for a two or three day excursion to Las Vegas during your stay.
